I downloaded these from x****

Replacement.UIX.XBE(MAKES.UIX.WORK.WITH.ALL.BIOSES.EVEN.1.6)
Not sure I needed the replacement uix.xbe so i tried installing it with the standard one + audio and fonts
It started fine, with it's standard 3-tab setting, I could change skins and fiddle with settings inside the dash.
But there is a time in life when a man can't be satisfied with a measly three tabs, and Music, Harddrive and Settings isn't really optimized for him anymore.
So I read around here on the UIX-forum looking for multi-tab functions and changing function on the menu-tabs, found exactly that in this thread:
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=334072
Tried my best to configure the default.xip-file, being all jolly in my struggle i transfered my edited files to my xbox and tried starting up UIX.
But.. somewthing went wrong..
Instead of starting up a working UIX-dash, my Xbox just restarted with the standard splash-screen and straight back to evox.
Going back to my computer, thinking I might have done somehing wrong, I replaced the edited files with my back-ups and tried again.. but this time I only tried editing så that my music-tab would be for XBMC instead..
And I tried again..
but.. nah, it didn't work.. tha same thing happned.. noisy splash-screen followed by evox..
Then I read something about the fixed uix.xbe and tried the same with that one.. same results.
I'm good enough working the codes, not understanding all the "if=itemopenmenu>dir", but knowing where to place them. I'm the kind o guy who'd rather fix my XBMC-stream in th xml-file, if you kow what I mean..
can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Redirect me, send me a PM och just write i here, cause I'm all out of ideas..
A big smooch to the UIX-team for this great dash, if only it would work as good as it looks.. the potential is out there..
