After trying to knock up an LED ring and failing, I had a little idea to knock up a test rig for my LEDs.

Gonna hook up 4 AA batteries and a resistor (as below)

Any1 reckon this'll work??

Hook the batteries up in series, not parallel.

Privides you know the current coming off of the batteries and use the right value resistor you should be good. But I'm pretty sure the batteries need to be in series.

I just have an old stripped controller dongle I use to test them. beerchug.gif

you could use a pc psu and short the green wire on the atx plug and then use the 5V rail and resitor to test the leds.
