I know this has probably been asked, and i have read in many forums that it has been asked but with no real answer. I have been looking and searching for a while now with no luck. So ill ask

Are "Burned Games"* playable on xbox live???

If no, why not, arnt they exact coppies of the original

IF so, whats the process, Do you back it up to your xbox with DVD2XBOX and then FTP the files over to your computer then back that up to a DVD-R.

Im just looking for a tutorial or some direction.

I realize i will probably get thrashed for asking cuase i have read a lot of similar questions that just say look it up, i have, im not being lazy just lost.

Thanks for any help

*Backed up from owened coppies of course, Piracy=Bad

Because the orginal BIOS won't read DVD-Rs... Try it and find out for your self.... Tho there has been some people that have been able to tweak their phillps to read CD-Rs but I highly doubt they ran it under the Orginal BIOS to read the Game... BTW you gotta boot into your orginal BIOS to play on LIVE or you will be banned from LIVE.

Cheers!

2048-bit encryption is a slight problem...

It's not even the game that's a problem, it's the BIOS. You can't get onto live with a hacked BIOS and you need a hacked BIOS to play a backed up game. Therein lies the problem.

But, this has been gone over a thousand times already.

no, they arent exact copies, you may not have noticed, but burned copies are burned on dvd-rs and retail copies on on retail pressed dvds
