Ok, here we go... hope your ready cuz this is gonna be it pop.gif

Lets start of with some of the first things i posted.

I burn HALO, HALO2, gta3, gta vice city, moto3gp
and others... just to name a few.

I burn forza... and I burn BattleFront; forza, with BOTH types of backups (HDD AND DVD) do the following: At random times the game will spit out the error msg about having a dirty disc or damamged disc. Although in the very beginning, it would not get past the first black screen of it all... went to ms dash, changed the language to foriegn then back it worked -- read up on that fix if you dont know about it.

With battlefront, i can't get past the loading screen.. it only does this with the DVD backup but works fine with the HDD b.u.

for those who wanted me to list my exapt steps... here they are.

I use:
x3ce with latest bios
evox latest
dvd2xbox latest
internet explorer
record now dx
maxell DVD-R
dell machine running xp, liteon burner (I think)

put disc in xbox, dvd2xbox e:, ftp to box, (Ive tried from bios, and from evox) download files to computer, open record dx, recorded on new volume, check test, record then verify... uhm... i guess thats it...

KEEP in MIND please that i Have successfuly burned games this way...

Thats all for now, im alittle busy, but please by all means reply beerchug.gif

Doesn't mean that they will work all the time. I used to use a different method, then ran into problems so I started to use Qwix for xiso and Nero or dvd dycrypter to burn. THIS is prob the best/most used method. try that and check the media quality that you burn them to. I have a backup of SW Battlefront and it does nothing of what you have stated using that method. since you are using evox you might want to clear Cache and all that. look at THIS guide too.
ILLusions0fGrander
method ive always used is:

FTP from xbox to PC using flashFXP
make multi disc in most situations
make iso using ISOmaker 1.21
burn as image with recordnowDX

even my oldest games from over a year ago still work like new.. never a problem.. always used good media, always used same sony 510a burner (thats a rebadged lite-on)

dunno why people have such problems... ive never had a backup problem that wasnt game specific or my fault.

anyways.. good luck.
