damn... confusing is right.. i normally just read posts and dont respond but this topic has got me upside down? wasnt doa4 the first footage we saw for the 360.. i remember that video while back with the whole Congratulations on the Xenon Launch.. i mean summer 2006 does seem kinda far for a release when they have the engine and from a developers stand point most of the code is probably done.. maybe content needs to be completed but damn, 10 months till June

I haven't watched the vid, but does it have anything to do with Famitsu reporting that DOA4 is only 50% finished as of it's showing at TGS?
They're still reporting a Dec 10 release day though, along with the X360 itself, and that even at only 50% now, they're still gonna be well on track for that release...

I heard 50% too, and now in this vid, they show a sign saying summer 2006, and Major Nelson himself says "doa 4 is set to hit the 360 in summer of 2006"

If they DO miss the JPN launch, and only release with 6 titles... shit.
Granted, Need For Speed: Most Wanted will be out shortly after and PGR3 in January (so they are reporting), but DOA4 would be the obvious launch draw along with RR6 (FPSes are not popular here, so Ghost Recon won't cut it).

Whew, I'm glad I didn't check out XS until this afternoon. I would have flipped if DOA4 came out next summer. I knew there was a movie of DOA coming out (Jamie Pressely is Tina apparently so maybe tittage will be shown
