Here are all of mine...

94 Summit DL Before the swap.

1983 AMC Eagle SX/4 Every option available, stock Radio still worked, 4 wheel drive. This car was a beast, it would go anywhere. It had a lift kit on it, bigger rims and tires, complete beast.... till I blew the engine and sold it for about 5 times what I paid for it smile.gif.

user posted image

Everything on this car was in mint condition except for one tiny rust spot on the left quarter panel.

My 89 Civic Hatch. 1.6l 4 cylinder power riced to the max. I bought it as is for 3 grand, completely rebuilt engine and fresh from the garage paint job, had I/H/E and nitrous but was only hooked up to purge, sold it for 5k.

user posted image

Wasnt a bad looking car, but was too low for me.

98 Chrysler LHS BOAT MOBILE. This car is HUGE. Barely fits in the garage. Its V6 powered and VEry quick for what it is. Ive beaten slightly modded 240's, mustang's (V6's not V8's) and all kinds of civics with this thing.

Next up is my current Daily driver. 96 Pontiac Sunfire. The mirrors are not carbon fiber, neither are the handles, someone was really good with carbon fiber tape tho. The sticker on the bottom left of the trunk reads "Clash of the titans 145+ DB Bracket " Paid 1700 for it as it is, nice littler car, pretty quick for what it is, hopefully soon I can find a set of stock rims and I can trade someone trunks because that wing is fugly along with the tails. Cant complain tho, it was a very good deal for the car

I also currently have a mitsubishi mirage, its red but I dont have any pics of it, its completely stock just bought it 2 days ago, dont even have it road ready yet. Soon to be buying a truck of some kind, havent decided on what make or model, I do have to lean towards a ford F150 or a dodge ram or Chevy silverado, I just want a big truck for off roading fun because the amc is no longer with me sad.gif

Body looks nice and clean...except for that dent, that's a weird spot to kick blink.gif
xboxhackern00b
it wasnt really a kick it was like a horizontal stomp the body is fine except on the other side where my dad hit my car with his atv when he was drifting in the snow and theres some stains from eggs on the top of the car from some fags... we've had the car since it was brand new and my parents gave it to me when i turned 16

That's my 1970 Corvette Stingray. Picture is not all that great, but only one I have on this computer. It looks red, but it's Corvette Bronze, a rare color that under the sun is absolutely primo. Everyone says that they love the color. I bought it 4 years ago. Spent 4 months finding one, then the first day I drove it got rear-ended at a red light by some guy messed up on prescription drugs. He didn't even slow down so it was a solid 35mph. Since it's a summer car, it wasn't for another year that I got it out of the shop and able to drive it. It was blach-cherry when I bought it, but since the accident pretty much made a new paint job necessary I decided to go with the original color; makes it worth a little more. When I saw it painted up at first I regretted my decision because it looked like a cross between bright orange construction paper and a penny, but once it was sanded down and clear-coated, I was in heaven. It's the second most beautiful thing in the world, the first being the female body of course.

You know how some people have bumper stickers on their cars that say, "My other car is a corvette." Well, I'm thinking about getting a bumper sticker on my corvette that says, "My other car is a 91' Lumina." rolleyes.gif

I'll try to get some pics of my POS RX-7 that is in bad need of a paint job up here.

Here are the urls for the remaining pics:

Here is a shot of what is under the hood. Pretty clean for an '88. The guy who sold it to me threw in the filtercharger for free so I just put it on so I wouldn't have to be dealing with shitty paper air filters. I also had some problems with my soundsystem frying my alternators, so I had my mechanic custom fit a chevy truck alternator onto the car. Also have a gel pack battery which goes well with the soundsystem.

Back to the car itself, here are a couple of pics of the failing paint job

Is it pretty quick compared to its turbo brother? Well compared to other cars actually. I was actually looking at buying one for a thousand dolalrs it just didnt run. Had 13k original miles, 1986 RX7, perfect interior and exterior no paint fade or anything, no scrapes or nothing. The owner died and it was left in his garage for years and finally his son sold it to a dealership becuase it dint run but the problem was bad fuel. I could smell it when he tried to start it. Possibly the fuel pump and def the fuel filter needed cleaned, the whole system flushed, but Im confident it would have been a great car with a little bit of work.
jesterrace777
Hard to rate the power on these suckers. It definitely isn't the turbo II model, and it is a FAR CRY from the twin-turbo powered beast that the 3rd gen is. The non-turbo is gutless in the low RPM range but becomes very hard to compete with in the high RPM range. RX-7s can be made into amazing performance machines but they will also be the biggest gas guzzlers on the planet. IMHO if the car is dead (no engine) I would go for the 350 V-8 conversion. Rotary engines are such high maintenence (and are even more so once you turbo them) that you would be better off with ditching it. You would get a couple of miles better gas mileage, more HP and still have decent handling. The fuel smell is usually due to failing seals around the fuel line and they are downright dangerous, as it's very easy for the engine to catch fire. RX-7s have VERY HIGH PRESSURE fuel systems. Mine was doing the same thing (bad smell) when I took it in and got it fixed.
Psykomantis00
I wouldnt build a rotary, I would do a V8 setup. Ive heard that if you dont run them into the ground, 3 rotor engine's will last a long time with little maintnance, but that might have been just fanboyism bs the the people on the forum were feeding me. I think they are sexy cars. but if I was going to get one and plan on doing a swap anyway why not get a dodge daytona? My step dad had one and it was pretty quick I guess, last time I rode in it before he sold it I was 13 and I didnt really care about cars then. Are they 6 cyl or 8 cyl engines?

Its not the best looking, but keep in mind im a 15 year old kid with no job or license. It runs perfect and has a new transmission.

Heres what happening to it as soon as I start my job next month...

Bucket seats
T-top seals
Front Windsheild
Paint
New plugs/wires/distributor
my X3 slimbox under the dash above passengers legs
10inch lcd in dash
dual 7 inch lcds in headrests
2 10 inch RF subs

It has a 305 in it right now but this winter my dad and I are rebuilding a 350 to put it in once spring gets here.
Rylinkus
Some nice cars here. Im a huge mazda fan so the RX7 is a favorite. And my bud had an 86 white IROC in HS so Im a HUGE fan of 3rd gen camaros for sentimental reasons. Ill post some pics of my cars at some point. Prob not tonight though.

Daytonas? I think they are actually turbo 4 banger if they are the top of the line models. I could be mistaken though. I seem to recall a 2.5L turbocharged 4-banger. They are pretty quick but IMHO there are better options for the $. The 3 rotor engines are HP beasts but VERY RARE and expensive as hell to convert into a 2nd gen. It would probably run you about $10-$15K and that is if you did all of the work yourself. You can buy a rebuilt 350 for about $1600 and replace the tranny for about $2K or less. Even if you didn't do the work yourself it wouldn't cost you more than $6-$7K. It seems like alot but not bad if you are getting the RX-7 itself for $1K or less.
Rylinkus
Daytonas are also FWD = LAME......

Was it RWD? I always thought the daytona's were RWD and it never even crossed my mind they were fwd.

I don't have a good pic of my car. I drive a '99 Grand Am V6, mystic blue.

Here is an in-race picture of the car the team and I built for the 2005 FSAE Competition. This was my senior project.

Aww its so cute! Haha. It reminds me of the ariel atom, whats it got powering it? How's it ride that low to the ground?
ClintiePoo
Honda CBR 600 with 20 mm restrictor (rules require this). It rides that low to the ground because we designed it that way. The idea is to get the CG as low as possible. A tilt-test confirmed that the CG with driver was just over 8 inches. It only weighed 438 lbs, down from 483 last year.

I love that year of grand damn 98-01 are the shit. I've seen some serious competition cars made out of them.. Really I just like the lines.. and Pontiacs...

Nice color though..

And that really isn't a shack.. I have a friend who lives in a shack.. Litterally.. Maybe one day I can get a pic of it.
ClintiePoo
Yeah I like the car a lot. It's got a V6 and is so much faster than my old 92 Ford Tempo smile.gif.

As for the shack, it is cheap and I love it. I just moved in this month. It is a little house by itself, so I can blare the music/games if I want to.

Is that Camero an RS or a Z-28.

Those are some sweet ass s2k's man. I lovem.

I think its an RS but thats just a guess because I know nothing about camaro's, but I was sure there was a Z28 badge on the fender or soemthing.

The Z-28 badge is right above the rear fender and on the side doors. You couldn't tell by looking at only a pic of the front end. wink.gif
