how do i crack a locked hdd, my original 1.0 xbox hdd got freeze locked with atapwd and i dont know how to unlock it, i've tried the locking code atleast 30 times and it wont work

Uhh its locked to the mobo so if thats broken, theres a few ways to get it unlocked.
Chip it, or check llamma, they have a few tutorials on how to get the hd unlocked with a broken mobo

no it's not locked to the mobo, it's locked with a completely random code that i have no idea what it is

well that seems to be my current plan of action, i messed both of my xboxes, i'm chipping my 1.6, and i dont know how i'm gonna fix my 1.0 (because that is the one with the eeprom file, and i dont have a backup)

Was that hdd locked with a master password or just with the faulty eeprom data?

with a master password, the problem is, i didnt set it, and nobody else did either
