Hi all,
Can anyone tell me what the different partitions mean or what data is stored on each, I have Evox 2.6, installed on the C:
I know D: is the xbox DVD, and F: seems to be my storage for apps&games,
what are the others drives for and are they all needed? Off the top of my head I think I got G: X: Y: Z: not infront of xbox so cant remember!
Any help would be great.

x, y, and z are cache folders that are needed, and g is a partition that you don't really need, but I would leave the setup alone. G is basically for 1. Old time modders that had a 137gb+ hdd before the LBA patch and didn't want to lose everything on f by reformatting, 2. People who have a hdd of 300gb + (though this 256gb partition limit is avoidable by using xbpartitioner), 3. Some people prefer to have a g partition for other reasons (like other apps, movies, emulators, etc.).

C is system software (MS dash, some run custom dashes from C)
E is gamesaves, Live DLC and ripped soundtracks
H-O are all memory cards, each letter corresponding to a different controller port and memory card slot (on controller)
Q is a cache volume created by XBMC

Cheers chaps just what I wanted to know,
I'm running a 120gb HD in my xbox, with Evox M8 FC67 bios, if I lobbed a 300gb drive in the box would it all be on the F: or would i have to spread it over a few partitions?
Thanx again

using a 67 bios it would be on F and G
you could use an 06 bios for all on F if you want, but make sure you format F with xbpartioner (otherwise youll get data corruption since the partition is over 256gb)
