if the original is BC (which i dont see it being so as there will be a 360 version) then you can play on a 360 against people on xbox 1 (as with any online BC game). as for the 360 version, who knows, its EA so i wouldnt be holding my breath. i dont see how it would be so hard to let xbox 1 players fight against 360 players, especially with specified servers, but again its EA. maybe we'll learn more from X05

I just saw this.

"Activision has announced that Call of Duty 2: Big Red One will feature cross-platform multiplayer thanks to the State Engine middleware from DemonWare. PlayStation 2 and Xbox players will finally get a chance to enjoy some real bragging rights—or even join forces—when they duke it out in 16-player online competition. It’s worth mentioning that the GameCube version will not support these multiplayer features. Big Red One is due out in November."

i know what you meant and there isnt anyone that can give you an honest answer. i know demonware software is being used for the 360 by devs and by using that middleware it would be possible for BF2 360 to play against xbox1 BF2 players (as long as there is no difference in the game other then graphical upgrades)

like it was said before its EA so dont get your hopes up

why would you get that game for xbox?

Big Red One for current gen is not the same game as CoD 2 for pc and 360..

ENTIRELY different games.

Unless youre getting both versions, dont fret beerchug.gif

i wouldnt worry about that at all. last i checked most, if not all, ps2 online games are broadband only. i laugh when i see that because there main draw was that BOTH narrowband and broadband people would enjoy online gaming on the ps2 and they shunned MS's direction of broadband only. but now all you see is broadband only in the adds when it comes to the online part for the ps2.
