I bought a x-.bit 1.5 form diviineo. I've bought mod chips from other suppliers and got the yellow and black wires to connect to the USB/Dip switch part to the main chip.

Have installed everything and got the xbox working fine with other yellow & black wires but they are necessary for the chip to work as far as I can tell. Still waiting for a response from Divineo.

Is there any way to run the chip withought the dipswitch/usb part???

Unfortunately there is no way to flash it, although if you can borrow the wires from somewhere else, the chip will run the bios in bank 1 without the external board attatched.

If divineo do not respond, send them plenty of emails till they do, and you could also try the BST forums here.

I have the yellow and black wires from another x-bit so I'll try flashing onto bank 1. I hope it's that easy!

Just to let other people know, flashing to the number 1 slot worked fine on two xbox's, without the dipswitch/usb part or the yellow and black wires.
