It's also a shooter at some times, and a fighter at some times. lol

It doesn't contain traditional platforming elements, such as platform jumping and butt-stomps. Each character levels up and you can teach them new abilities and advanced versions of their attacks. Each character is different.

Am I the only one who thinks Kameo looks like shit?? Come on people, with games like Oblivion, PGR3, PDZ and people are serious about Kameo?? Game looks cheap, sure if I was 10 I might play it buy get real. Everyone talks about is XBOX360's graphics next gen to you, and then want this game, that looks like it could be running on a PS2, come on

Actually, I really disagree with you. It sounds as though you are implying that it looks kiddy, and that is just not so. Yes, it has a pixar look to it but thats not a bad thing. Watching videos of this game helps me to realize that they have brought back something that a lot of genres have lost... Good, general fun. It looks to be an enjoyable game for anyone who decides to pick up the controller.

This game looks like it has all the qualities of a good Nintendo game, and that's a good thing. It's really hard to capture that Nintendo magic, but if anyone can do it, it's Rare. Hell, they worked with Nintendo enough on first party titles.

Let's just hope it's better than Conker's Bad Fur Day or Grabbed by Ghoulies for the Xbox... *shudders*

Only game ive seen with the talked about "movie graphics". Dont know how someone can say it looks like shit. That game is gonna sell like halo did.

Kameo still probably won't sell as many copies as PD0 will... the weird thing is I'm actually looking forward to Kameo now more than PD0 since they have revealed all the info on Pd0. Just another shooter.

Tell you what, show me a Dynasty Warriors (or any other) game that can handle 4000+ characters on screen at the same time with full parallax mapping, depth of field effect on, huge draw depth and an excellent framerate on the PS2.

Watch the 31 minute commentary video again. Then take another swig of bleach and you might be able to dream up the above game.

Those videos dont lie man thats the shit people have been waiting for. Seriously with that game, I dont even think i'll be able to take in the story because I will be busy keeping my jaw off of the wet floor.

While I am excited about Kameo...the interesting thing is My girlfriend asked me to buy it...and she does not like videogames...she tolerates Donkey Kong (the original) and Super Mario World 2...but that is about it...

Kameo will be huge this holiday you can count on that.

strangest thing is that the two rare games were the two i was least bit interested in and they both have impressed me beyond what i thought would be possible. kameo has made huge improvements every time i see it (which is why i think its a good idea they keep showing the same parts so you can see how much progress the games make). i will be picking this one up eventually and i NEVER thought i would be saying that about kameo.

My wife's (I'm 29) only comment about the 360 is "what game are you getting for me?" Kameo is it, unless there is a good Xbox game that you can recommend and will be emulated at launch.

you could always buy her DoA volleyball, with the swimsuit buying, and such she may like that. other then that i cant think of anything on the xbox other then those SIM games but i dont see them being emulated on the 360.
