I soldered the X3 in just fine and hooked up everything just as the instructions said to. I flashed the chip and installed evox and a 160 gig HD. Everything is just great. I backed up all my games and love it. But one thing that I JUST noticed is that if try to boot with the chip disabled, the green blob startup screen comes up but then it FRAGs. Booting with the chip enabled works perfect. It just will not boot with it disabled. Everything about the install turned out great except for this. Any ideas?

Thanks

I can't remember if I have it locked or not. I'll check it tho.

BTW: The xbox isn't FRAGing. After the green blob comes up, then the customer service screen appears. I wasn't thinking when I typed it.

OK... what's the error code in the top left corner?? It's a number, and they all correspond to a different thing.

OK. The number is "05" or "D5" (I can't tell).

Thanks
