OK, I ordered an EEPROM from Zodiak (thanks, man!) but stupidly forgot to specify that I needed a 1.6 EEPROM. So I ended up with a 1.0. LiveInfo seems to have an option in a drop-down menu for changing the Xbox version the EEPROM will work on; however I don't want to flash the changed one to my box just yet for fear of killing it. Does changing the drop-down option from 1.0 to 1.6 and then saving the changed EEPROM as a new file safely change the version?
