Hello,
I have installed xbc and have a user name and password, when i log on I can see all games in progress. My problem is I cannot get my xbox to detect the network. Im using a dlink 4 port wired router and ive successfuly ported 8602. My evox settings are as follows:
[Network]

SetupNetwork = Yes
StaticIP = No
Ip = 192.168.0.101
Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
Defaultgateway = 192.168.0.1
DNS1 = 0.0.0.0
DNS2 = 0.0.0.0
SkipIfNoLink = No
SetupDelay = 0

[Clock]

JumpToMsDash = No
JumpIfNoLink = Yes
Use24 = Yes

SNTP_Server = 216.244.192.3

[FTP]

Enable = Yes
Password = xbox
IGR = Yes

[Telnet]

Enable = Yes

[RDTOOLS]

Enable = Yes
IGR = Yes
Name = XBOX_V1.0
My nic card is configuredto obtain an ip adress automaticly
I am using cat 5 patch cables to connect my comp to router and to connect my xbox to the router.
I have Verizon Fios service ( new fibre optic connection)
Just as a note I always used to ftp via crossover cable and now that I have connected to a router I can no longer FTP
I want to believe its something to do with my router config
Also my comp ip is 192.168.0.100 and my router ip is 192.168.0.1

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Try powercycling the network and see if that helps,

Power off all things connected to the router
Power off modem and router
Wait about 1 min or so
power up modem
wait for it's lights
power up router
power up pc and open XBC
power up XBOX

Go into Halo or Halo 2 And into system links and while it's searching for games find it in XBC Options
