Have the main menu be him in his Tape mode ... then hit a, and the tape deck open, to have the other menus fly out SWEET!

a skin like gas's nublack but purple... i like purple... and not bright purple.. kinda dark purple.

not too flashy either... just... dark... purple... coolness...

I posted this up earlier and I have talked to gas about it a little but I am making my chick a my little pony themed slim box a mlp skin would rock.. But I doubt that it would be in high demand otehr than with the chicks I know.

ok, you're missing the point to this thread.....
... I mean , a WHOLE new look for skins ... draw out some ideas, and we'll get some shit rollin ...

Like Odb and I were sayin... a Transformer skin of SoundWave .. a whole new 3d looking display... either with or without fluent animations... you tell us;)

I thought it would be cool to replace the orb with an eyeball and have it look at the menu that you have selected. I got the idea from a Twilight Zone DVD menu:

i dont know how to ask this without sounding like an idiot but i need a skin made or instructions on how to make a skin for UIX for the original xbox. i have all the tools and programs including
fast xbx2dds2img.. the only problem is when i go to convert the jpg file to dds it says conversion complete but the dds folder is empty so im not sure whats going on... any help would be great. i have the picture i need to be inserted into the skin aswell as the overall skin layout. i just need to get the xbx for the image i have.

There's no need to convert it to dds. Convert it from jpg to xbx. There should be an option to convert from image to xbx.
