I have my copy of Mechassault, EvoX loaded, and finally a Crossover cable. My Ethernet port is definately working since I can connect to the internet with it, but yet I STILL cannot get a link to my XBox from the Computer. Help please?

Let me rephrase this:

I have finally gotten it to link... It displays the Static IP I put in from that website, but when I try to ping the XBox, it's timing me out. Any idea why?

No other networking adapters, (Ethernet or USB) are hooked up/in when I am trying, I am not connected to the internet or anything.

I can't get any response with a Ping or FlashFXP...

Any ideas?

Would a dashboard change fix anything?

Thats about all I got. Please let me know if you need more info or if I need to change anything.

what is your pcs ip?

My PC's IP?... I think it's dynamic and changes when I reset my connection...

When you say change the PC's IP, do you mean in FlashFXP?

Do you have a game inside trying to establish a link still?

Yes... Why? (I'm still in the Dashboard though)
