Ok, im a little comfused. I have Evox on my system (softmod) and I want to have XBMC as a alternative dashboard by going into the apps section in Evox. I see one some guides to change a setting in the Evox settings and some say to edit the .inf file. I'm brand new to this, also do I have to edit the xml file. I just want XBMC to play divix files on a dvd and play my movies without the xbox remote.

just dl xbmc and put it in e:\apps

I dont have to edit the xml file or change the setting for Evox ?
