ok i got a x3ce here to test. i put it in my xbox in place of my x3ce thats on it now. Now as soon as i plug the xbox in, it turns on instantly and frags. I also tried hotswapping the chip, so i could reflash the bios just in case that could be a problem, but after doing that i got an error that write protection is enabled. But its not enabled on the chip. Is there a way to set write protection in X3CL and I just overlooked it? Or is this chip just fucked? If you need any more details let me know.

any ideas guys?

please note: As soon as i plug in the xbox when the chip has all wires plugged into it, it frags. If i unplug it from the eject trick board, it doesnt turn on the xbox by itself. If I hot swap it and try to flash the chip it says write protected. So is this chip seen the end of its days?
