ok so i modded the .umd and messed around with it (i have a softmod) and my question is, is there a way for me to get onto live with this? how? and do i have to keep it saved to my hd to work or no? please help i just started trying this with rainbow

Yes, there is a way to get this on live. No, I wont tell you how because of to many cheaters on live as it is.I also doubt anyone else will tell you either.

why not? can you please? if theres so many whats just ONE more? i promise i will not tell anyone.. plus im sure u had someone tell u atleast one thing about modding why wouldnt you do that also? you would want someone to tell you also. any way if i do get on live i will be in my own server with only my friends and i wont be cheating i will playin around with them.. i dont like to cheat

M$ comes out with security patches so nobody else will do it.

Well, if your really interested, you would start looking at it yourself instead of asking others. I had no help when I figured it out, and I dont really want to give help because others will then use hacks and really screw up Xbox LIVE.

Listen, if you learn how to do this stuff yourself you will be more independent than dependent. You may even find out new things that you won't tell Digital Marine. Odds are slim, but if you apply yourself enough you will get what you're asking for. Please do not mod to cheat. Mod for the experience. Your very xbox excitement depends on it. Don't be a cheater! Wrong, you dont have to ask questions to learn. If that was true then how did the first hacks become available to even softmod the xbox. yes, asking questions help but for the most part someone had to take the time to figure it out on there own and by them doing so they have the most respect given to them

Just keep trying and something will take place. I will give you a hint. Always back up the umd file so that when try new things and they don't work you can have something to fall back on. Live and learn. It will make you stronger and more intelligent. Now that you have done all of this, it won't be long when a person just like you right now, starts asking you questions. Thank you Nuclear Fusion. As much time as you spend asking questions, you could of almost figured it out. And the more you figure out things by yourself, the more you learn. So if you want to "learn how to hack", you better strap yourself down to the chair, unplug your internet so you cant ask questions, and get down to craking the games.

And as for "to get my stuff", Donny, what do you mean by "YOUR stuff"? Apprently it isnt YOUR's because your asking on how to get it... but I guess you can restate that sentence

Maybe you're not understanding us. You have to hex edit the xboxdynamic.umd file. It is possable to find certain mods in this forum, but in order to enjoy them you have to hex edit them yourself. Do your homework. Read these forums. Several forums show how to softmod your xbox and get started. Hex editing is as far as we can help you for now. As soon as you come across some of the more common problems that those who have went before you are dealing with, there is no more that we can do for you. You are right to say that asking questions can help, but you have asked questions that we gave answers to. So, take these answers and use them. Don't be frustrated. Feel enlightened. For we have shown you the path to technical knowledge. WALK DOWN IT!!!

thats not quite what i was asking.. i already have a softmod.. i already hex edited the xboxdynamic.umd file i got the mods working but.. i saved it to my harddrive and u cant play games off ur harddrive on live.. see where im stuck?

I can see that you have no respect for Rainbow six 3 Black Arrow and no respect for Xbox Live. No, I , for one, will not teach or condone the teaching of Xbox Live modding. You are extremely transparant. How you pertray yourself as someone who actually needs help gives all other honest newbs less of a chance to find help. Well, most people dont know how to mod on Xbox Live; and thats a good thing! But yes, I do agree. I agree that people that actually want to mod on Xbox Live just want to do it for cheating.

And Donny, "doing it in your own server", that sounds like BS to me. You'll probably host like 1 or 2 days, then you'll be all over people's servers pissing them off....I dont buy the BS.

how do you know so much about me? it's kinda freaky lol anyway even if you know so much about me you do not know the details and what living conditions i am in and i am not staying but i will not see many of my friends again and possibly not seeing alot of friends nor moving back to the parish i lived in my house was destroyed yours wasnt, plz dont tell me what to think. you do not know anything about what i am going through nor think even if u stalk me. i know ur attentions are good but if u only say something it will not have a big impact on ones life no matter how bad you want it to, and yes i will continue to try and hack rainbow six not for cheating but for fun, and if u knew me u would know that about me

i quit trying. my softmodded box broke and i just got a new one i couldnt find anything out so i quit..

No affense dude but it kinda server you right to have that happen Most people say they are only going to play in there own server and it may happen but more than linkely someone mostly everyone will stop doing it in only "their" servers. I know Digital only does it in his server hes cool like that lol.

this post is a lil old but im gonna make a comment anyway.. if this is what your saying then u want to do everything on ur own. did u get ur own electricity? o wait that was that one genius not u. did u make the clothes ur wearing? did u make the food u eat on ur own? the answer is no. and i can gaurantee that u were told how to softmod and how to hack things u did not figure everything out on ur own although u might have found some things on ur own, please dont be a hypocrit or however u spell it

Your also again right and wrong at the same time. Yes, I had help to get where I am now. But I didn't get to where I am now by just asking step by step questions. If I was to ask step by step instructions for everything like you appear to be doing then all I would know is what was told to me.

But I took the knowledge that I was so luckily handed to me and combined ideas with a little bit of my own ideas and I have been able to help with things I never thought I would of been able to do before. So think about it, do you think Edison would of ever thought about creating electricty if he hadn't heard an idea on how it would effect productivity. Or if there was someone designated to hunting food, another to clean the food, and another to package the food that it would be less work on the individual and more like TEAM work.

So take what i've given you and think about it. If i was you I would brush up on how games work and there engine and that might help to get you where you need to be.
