Hey I recently softmodded my xbox with mechassualt and action replay I had evolution x and evox I tired to sign on to xbox live and I couldnt Why cant I sign on to xbox live.. I tried to restore my original dashboard but it deleted all of my dashboards so I need a new hard drive and disk drive and case..... any help would be nice thanx

How in the world did you think you could get on Live with a modded box? I demand to know where you heard this from. Which one of your mis-informed associates gave you this incredibly wrong piece of information? Modded boxes on Live (softmodded or hardmodded) have been banned since day #1. (I know because I got banned on day #1).
So, YES, you have been banned from Xbox Live and NO, they won't give you a refund, and NO, you can't argue with MS about this. They won't budge. You screwed up, you got caught, take it like a man.
Let this be a lesson to you kids. Read BEFORE you start screwing around.
