Whoops. So much for secret. While it's secret on the achievements page if you click on his icon it says what he's doing now, and say what he just unlocked.

Make that lots of secret achievements.

Interestingly enough there's 5 Co-op achievements, so maybe it will come with co-op, or they've just planned ahead.

If you check his Gamercard, it actually shows what he is doing in the game, like "climbing a wall"

I can see that he just recently unlocked pummelweed, meaning he's just started the game. You can probably see what level hes on and what boss he may be fighting, and when he wins, but I dunno about 'climing a wall'.

MS did say that they will be a 20-30 char info string that a game can update when it wants that would be displayed on Live.
The example they gave was in a baseball game it could tell you the current state of the match 'bottom of 8th, 9-2 ahead' etc.

Most likely the bit about the wall was the first stage they've showed when she's turned into chillia (or whatever his name is) and is learning to climb.

If I would have known you were going to doubt me, I would have printed screen. Lowprofwurm and I were talking via AIM and he's the one who linked me and sure enough, He was "climbing a wall in Kameo"

For the non-believers still out there, I'll vouch for Def on this one (since I found it in the first place ). But just this once!

I didn't believe it at first, but it actually said "Climbing a Wall" on his gamercard. I'll assume that the reason for this is so you don't go pissing him off by ringing him up for a game in the middle of a boss fight or something. Anyway, I can't see Sony matching ANYTHING MS has done with Live. Little details like this is very cool.

That would rule if the Gamercard said things like "HEADSHOT!" or "Def pistolwhipped by Wurm's Rocketlauncher" or some shit. The only thing that would make it complete is if the UT announcer came on and announced the line.

I think the most important thing about this is that it shows that the game is finished and ready for launch.

Not too jazzed about everyone being able to see what I am doing all the time. I wonder if it shows the name ofhte movie you are watching off DVD? Some films I would rather not advertise

I hope you can disable automatic login like you could with Xbox. I loved that feature because getting invites on single player Live aware games like Prince of Persia and others got old.

I only connect to Live when I play a multiplayer game. If its a single player game, I don't connect/Log in.

Or even better, a 'appear offline' mode

Major Nelson's covered this as far as games are concerned, you'll be able to turn off everything displayed on your gamercard/live profile apart from your name, rep and gamerscore. So if you don't want people knowing that you're playing 'Barbies magical horse adventure' (their example, not mine) you can stop the display of the recently played list.

No idea about DVD's and such, they'ld need some reliable way of knowing the tite of the DVD before they could display it.

I wont be online with a game for a while, I dont have live for that reason really. I like it just for fixes and maps. I wont even have an online game except for CoD 2, and Im not getting that for online play. Especially if its only 8 or 12 people like claimed...booooooring. I want 32 or 64 like MoH!!

I'll be getting quake 4 at some point and I'll meet you online with that. PGR 3.... you wont stand a chance dont drink and drive!

Other games Im getting will be Condemned 4 sure, and possibly King Kong shortly after launch.
