Hi All

In Xebian, my CPU is cool to the touch. However my GPU is extremely hot, probably about 70 degrees C! As I am using my xbox only for linux over the network, and I dont even have a screen attached, I was wondering if it is possible to disable the GPU in Linux?

Failing that can I put it into some kind of powersaving mode, or at least underclock it?

That's a good question......

I've never checked the temps of mine.
I'm running GentooX, and it has a screensaver, that makes the screen black. I always assumed this menat the GPU would be doing the least amount of work possible.

I could be wrong.

(I run mine 24/7 as a network server)
