Help!

I have a crystal (1.4) Xbox and my harddrive is "crashed".

My question is :

how can i put in a new hdd without backup of my old?

If its modded, just whack a new one in. if not then use xbhdm with a backup of the eeprom (if you have 1)

If you hdd is screwed just buy a new one from a local p.c shop, install a modchip if you havent already, shove the drive in, do some formatting and installing with evox and your good to go.

if you buy a X3 chip it will make your life easier though.

I have sone this and had the exact same prob as you..

xbox hd went to lunch and i was left with no lock or anything..


so get yourself a mod chip install it and get a new drive put it in and watch the lights go Wooot


with an x3 chip and a evox cd its easy as hell

got error 5 and 7
how easy is this to do with a doux 2 cromwell/flash bios only running cromwell
should a slayers disk or firef@ckers make this easy enough
