Hi, I am a bit of a newbie and have had my xbox soft modded by a company, I want to go to the ms dashboard and set my date and time but when I select the option in the system management menu to do this it goes to the loading screen then just hangs

Any help would be appreciated

if you have xbmc your xboxmediacenter.xml should look like this:

<!-- Which dashboard to launch when exiting XBMC !-->
<!-- Ex: "<dashboard>C:\xboxdash.xbe</dashboard>" !-->
<dashboard>C:\msdash.xbe</dashboard>

OK how do I go about checking that, considering this was all done for me by a 3rd party company

ftp into your xbox and check your "xboxmediacenter.xml" file should be in e:/dashboard/
