I was at Starbucks and I can't believe you have to pay to use wifi there(Tmobiles Hotspot). On top of haveing to pay for thier wifi, it's not even decently priced. Most coffee shops offer it for free, I can't believe that Starbucks teamed up with Tmobile to make people pay to use Wifi, this is total corporate greed.
Are there any sites or info on useing Tmobiles hotspot Wifi without getting ripped off? I know there has to be a way....where's there's a will there's a way and whatever can be engineered can be reversed engineered.

Well to start with, ya the priceing per hour is rough but what do you expect from a place that charges $4 for a cup of coffee? Tmobile does have some plans to save some cash.
As to breaching TMobile, I would wager it would be easier to hack into thier order/billing server to create a dummy unlimited account(since most WiFi cards I have used didn't clone another MAC).
Personaly I recomend eather using a free open hotspot or try your local McDonalds, I know with most value meals they give free coupons*at least at the local ones here they do*.

if you think it should be free, put in your own hotspots all over the place so people can have it for free. Let me know how that works out for you.

F*ck you, there are many coffee shops that offer free wifi. Maybe you should goto some of them and tell them it shouldn't be free. Let me know what the response is you get from all the people useing the free wifi and how it works out for you.

You like strokeing Tmobile?

Yes, some places do offer free wifi. It costs cash to set up a access point, if there is no need for a gimic(as it is with Starbucks) then your just throwing away cash.
There is the cost to providing WiFi access, between the monthy cost of a internet connection(depending on the speed they provide the price varies), the actual wifi equiptment, many times a tech to set it up(just because they own a coffee house doens't mean thier tech savy), and documentation for non-tech savy customers.
The free to you wifi often has a nasty sets of costs behind it.
While I enjoy any chance to make fun of starbucks(mainly since I like thier coffees), the TMobile hotspots normaly are a you pay nothing they handle everthing for the WiFi solution. It's done in places where they don't want to be bothered with the wifi, but think someone may use it.
The real question is would you rather starbucks not have any wifi?
