absolute beginner here (a bit thick as well )

can you transfer skins using a cd/dvd rather than FTP, as I'm completely lost looking at how to connect my xbox to my pc!!

yup. to do it with no pc though, youll need to have a file manager installed or on your disc (such as unleashx)

looked into getting unleashx onto my xbox, seems a bit complicated to me (as I said previously ...thick )

all goes on about network addresses etc, may as well be written in chinese!

if you would like to provide an idiot proof guide I would be very grateful, if you can't be bothered no probs!

it easiest to just network so you dont have to waste cds. try the tutorial in my sig.

Hmmm... it would really be probably a LOT easier to hook your Xbox to your PC than what you're talking about... lol.
