No review has mentioned this yet, have they? This should at least effect how they rate the graphics...

Should it? WHY? What difference does it make if the final product of the graphics could be considered a 10?
Thats like turning your nose up to a painting because you didn't think the brushes the painter used were high enough quality regardless of the paintings beauty...
Not to mention... was that ever substantiated? AFAIK it's still rumor...

Gimme a break, have you played them both and completed them? I didn't think so, don't talk.

Over the past summer, I became a pedestrian for the first time since I turned sixteen years old.
Thats how the review starts out. No offense to young people but the opinion of a 16 year old doesnt mean sh#t to me. 10 out of 10 doesnt leave much room for improvement does it. 1up suck balls! Their reviews are useless. Have a nice day

P.S. I will be getting this game and im not knocking it, im sure its GREAT i just think its funny how quick they are to hand out a 10.

No game will ever be a 10/10
Its a joke seeing scores like that, and they are usually confined to playstation mags, god forbid we are going to see every other game rated 10/10 on the xbox 360.

umm, I think he was saying that hasn't been a pedestrian for a long time, since he was 16 in fact. Just because i havn't been a pedestrian since i was 16, doesnt mean i am 16.

A 10/10 could mean that they felt the game exceeded in areas where other games didnt, and i dont see how that will never happen... They could be comparing pgr3 to other games in general and how satisfying it was to them. Compared to those other games pgr3 is the best in the fields of comparison to them.

Its all opinions, but for me 10/10 means there will never be a better game.
I can understand your point of view, and have had the case argued in that way before with me. But I dont beleive there should ever be a 10/10 rating for any game. It just means it will never ever get better, that the game is perfection.
and as we all know there is no game that is perfect.

Well i thought about it... and you are probly right, But if you were then a game couldnt be a 9 or even a 8... because what if they came out with games that were slightly better than the game that scored an 8 or a 9, then they eventually would come out with a 10/10, then a 11/10 if the games kept getting better, so you cant really compare it to other games, you have to compare the rating to how the game comes together, and thats how I think they rate games... etc.

True, but I imagine there will be problems with PGR3, maybe small faults, but still if you dont comapir 10/10 means the game is perfect, and no game is perfect.
It wont be something I will play as I am not a fan of racing games, but I doubt very much if its perfect.
Maybe it is, maybe it will bethe first game ever made that has no faults what so ever, but I somehow doubt it.

I also believe that PGR3 is good, excellent even, but perfect - don't think so.
The playability is there and models are well done, but ten out of ten would require having icing on cake and extra icing on top of the icing. For example, where are the weather conditions? Where's the track editor? Where's that tool that lets you desing your own car from scratch?
PGR3 does what it's supposed to do and does it tremedously well, but doesn't stretch the envelope with tons of extra features. That icing on the icing.
Mind you, the next Forza might really deserve that tenner.
