This website is my number 1 news source for video game industry, if more general news can be possible, go for it.

Things are awesome how they are. Don't forget the how cool the RSS feed is.

Great website as is - but i don't object to any extra news. I check the RSS feed each day and sometimes more than once so I will be able to keep up

I love it the way it is. I always come here to see whats happening. Sometimes nothing is, sometimes it is. Maby even more news if you can.

I check this site 10+ times a day, whenever I'm bored...The more news the better, but it is great the way it is right now.

awesome stuff. I come here 5-10 times a day. good amount of xbox stuff (360 and original, modded and not), don't slow it down. Personally i wouldn't up the amount of gaming news you report but if people do want more xbox 360/games news a suggestion so this place doesn't become a pure xbox (non-modded) site flooded with news no one cares about would be to have a daily roundup with a single line explaining the news, and a link, (or even better keep it going how it is).

Keep xbox news here, leave all the playstation news on ps3-scene and all will be fine. (Actually, if ps3scene could be as information rich like this site ie. tutorials, downloads. that includes ps2 stuff, it would be nice... the ps2 scene doesnt really have a site that is comparable with xbox-scene in scope... pity.)

create a nintendoscene.com and that'll complete the triangle. :)

as long as you keep posting scene news, post any other general (xbox) related news

i come here every day. when ever i am board. i like that its updated often. plus the fourms are great.

this is definitley my no.1 source of xbox news. thers nothing that much wrong with it really

I think you guys should have seperate news sections for Xbox and Xbox360.

I for one am not interrested in bying an Xbox360 at the moment.

And I really think the news are overloaded with 360 entries.

But I think this won't be happening soon.

You have the filters so you can filter it.

and with the xbox 360 being as close as it is, there is allways going to be more 360 news.

IT will die down sooner or later and get back to its usual mix.

Don't change my XBMC RSS feeds!

The site is great. I voted that I liked the way it was now. I wish there was a vote option for including more xbox and xbox360 news of any kind.

I agree that it would be nice if the news was categorized, except that you already have done that by including the filter on the front page. So to those of you that also wanted your news categorized please look closer at the front page and find the links where it will show you only xbox or xbox 360 stuff. You already got what you want ;?)

The only suggestion I could think of is color coding titles (or an icon) that shows what type of news it is. Room for 1-3 icons might be useful showing which news items are rumor, technology, financial, scene, etc... something could have a rumor and a tech icon or other combinations.

I voted for screw general news, just give scene news. I don't care about the 360 as I'm not buying one, ever. If I want to know about 360 and other gaming news I can go to another site. I've actually changed all the RSS feeds in my dashes to xbins as I was so sick of all the 360 garbage in the news here.

Also, like quarky42 said, you can filter the news with the links @ the top of the page, so what's the big deal? If you don't like 360 news, filter it out. The only problem with that is that as far as I know those filters don't filter the RSS feed. Perhaps separate RSS feeds for 360/scene news only, Xbox/scene news only, and an Everything news feed could be created, so people like -Natas- can change the feed and have only Xbox/scene news rather than complain about the 360 news.

What do you think of that idea?

i like the news here, but dont only focus on 360 and forget about the rest. 360 is new and what is going on now so focorce we expect to hear about it.

I like general news when nothing else is happening but its a pain to skip when more important stuff is being posted for news.

This is the number 1 site that I come to check the 360 and original xbox news, the more news the better.
When I first started seeing more 360 news, it just makes me even more exited till the 22nd, but I'm only opening my 360 when a chip comes out for it, right now there is not enough info on the 360 and how fix something that goes wrong on the 360, I personally wouldn't turn my $400 system just yet until I learn more info on it.
Whenever I turn on my xbox and I see more news, I instantly come here to see what it's about.
I voted for "I like it the way it's now", this site is great, I come here every day to check the news on what is happening and what's new, and also the reviews are awesome, definitely makes me want to buy or not buy something.

yeah i think so but it doesnt like angry me or anything. i think it would be nice to add a filter for scene news only.

I just wonder how many times the Xbox team over at MS checks the site.. or even Bill himself.

I bet when they saw the news about the 360 already being opened they were like "ooooh !@#$!!!!!" Sure the case doesnt have screws holding the shell together, but the modding scene has smart ppl!

Anyways, yeah i check the site daily, sometimes a couple times a day... just to see if there's anything new. I say keep the news the way it is.. who cares. Keep it up!

There is a little more general news than I would like right now, but as it is I can at least wade through the general stuff to get to what I want. If anything less general, but feel free to keep it as it is, because I don't mind reading some general info as every now and again.

i think its better now as opposed to a couple weeks ago and prior where the news wouldnt update for at least a day or two, depending.
obviously with 360 due out in less than a week, there is more buzz in the air and more to inform on.

but like i said, great job and i say keep the news coming steady.

Hands down, this is the best source for anything related to xbox. Best xbox forums, best people, best experience. I think a lot of sites could learn a few things from this place.

keep it the same! Like everyone else I have this as my homepage for a reason! It has just the right amount of everything! You guys have done a great job since day one. You have updated and adapted to meet the requirements of the scene. This is where a lot of sites fail but xbox-scene did it perfectly and you continue to adapt and meet the changes of the scene. I have no doubt with the 360 you will do the same as you have done in the past and incorperate it right into the mix like it was ment to be!

I honestly feel quite bored by the pressure of the 360 news. I don't mean It's not interesting time to time to be updated about how things are developing for the 360 but I consider useless to get so much infos everyday, many of them not so important, one for all the unused booking ticket for the 360 in Japan... I wander who might care it?
BTW I believe many of these NotSoMuchNews, are part of a M$ commercial approach to prepare the market for the 360 launch.

I was expecting much more people to share this feeling and I was a little astonished by so many "This way is ok" votes.

Scene info are much more interesting and useful and my good old XBox is going to serve me still for some time, until the X360 scene will have turned in something that really worth the change. So if we are flooded by 360 news now,. what will be after it will be out on the market?

well your right, we need to make sure that the news that is posted is relevant, and not just there to creat hype. we are, after all, the most organised community for xbox and xbox 360 news and information. information being the key word there

I like it, it's like time is repeating it self with them opening it and everything and its gona be fun to see what the mod chips will be like and the features etc on the 360. Keep it up it's just the right amount and pictures are good to . Keep on rockin X-S.

i like x-s the way it is now, BUT, i don' tthink this site should evolve into a "gamespot" type site, that's just gay, this is xbox-SCENE, and this site has grown so much and sometimes i feel that it's main purpose has kind of faded away

I LOVE this site and have been here for a loooong time. I love the way it has evolved and do not think anything needs to be changed.
Currently there is alot of buzz on the 360 causing alot of "general" news.. which is to be expected.

Personally I would like a seperate xbox360-scene website in the future because havinig both "SCENE" type issues on one site will probably get a little confusing.. but hey beggars cannot be choosers..
