So, I've had some problems lately (started yesterday) with certain emulators, applications, and a few games taking a VERY long time to load. Only certain programs do it (every emulator by J-Red, one or two games, and XBMC)

For example. I'll load up FCE, and the mario 3 animation sequence will freeze up, and then the options list will load a minute or so later. Z26 will load a black screen for a minute or two then go to the main screen. Is this a sign that my xbox is once again dying? And is there a way to fix this?

p.s. I am using a UXE softmod and a 250gig 7200rpm Maxtor.

If it's only stuff on the HD going slow, then it is dying. Back your stuff up, NOW!

This is the 3rd Xbox HD I've had now. Just got it about 2 months ago. I sure hope it's not dying.
