Hey Guys I am going to do the Hip Pad Mod and was wondering whats the best way to protect the board that has the contras and volume control....???Its goin to be mounted in the front of the xbox and I would like to rest the board somewhere above the harddrive

you want to protect it? just make sure that only the knobs are visible and that nothing is resting on the controll board.

Just wrap in electrical tape. Do that to the main board as well.
