For all you saying that they will wait and get the PS3 you think that it will be bug free I doubt it.
Remember when the PS 2 first came out and right up untill they came out with the slim version.There were all sorts of gliches like the tray sticking or breaking the lens scrathing the disks or getting out of alignment.And then the thing would just quit.
Sony solved this by coming out with the smaller version without a disk tray and hay the new they would have bugs they found out what they were and fixed them have both PS2 a xbox and a 360 and they all have bugs.THEY ARE A ELECTRONIC DEVICE!!!

I agree with you that all electronic devices are not perfect and there is bound to be some problems

Don't forget the PSP... a serious problem that affects almost 1 in 3 handhelds.. Dead pixels.. Sometimes up to 10 pixels go dead on the PSP and the problem has not been solved since it came out.

PSP uses LCD, bound to have some dead pixels

ken kuturagi said himself in a gamespot article a few months ago that ps3 will have a high defect rate. it has something to do with the cell chip.

At least with the 360 mine worked outta the box, I had to go through a few PSPs to get one that worked right. Almost everyone I knew got a defective PSP on the first day.

Also unlike most consoles, were getting the first generation in the US. Normaly most consoles have issues, but thier resolved in the 6~8ish month diffrence between region relices.
