Another XBOX 360 has been the center of an armed robbery. This time in Atlanta Georgia.

Apparently a lady had waited in line a very long time to get her XBOX 360 only to have it stolen from her at gunpoint outside Best Buy. If your going buy a 360, bring some friends, or atleast a GLOCK. Cheers! This was reported on my local news, I will provide a link when one becomes available. What do you guys think? Just chalk it up to holiday thefts, or have the thugs gone wild(er)

i dont think its the first time a high ticket item has been stolen outside of a store before. i seem to remember furbees having the same problem. its a hard thing for a criminal to resist, they know the 360 will fetch a fortune on ebay. they also seem some woman alone at night carrying the 360 in plain view, easy target.

for people buying them, carry a backpack with you and slip the 360 in there before going outside. at least you dont advertise what you carry.

lol like i said an hour before the launch of the 360 when imm picking up my xbox imm going to hire 2 big bold guys to excort me from my house ot gamestop and back... so who ever is smart ebough to rob my 360 from this asian man well lets see you try............

I can see something like that happening in Atlanta.

For real. You could get held up at gun point by high rolling with some super size fries at McD's in that town.

XBOX was later found ditched on side the road 1.5 miles away. The gunmen realized it was a core system.

Atlanta is ok to visit... during the day. Stay out at night. I remember taking a field trip there when I was a kid. Before we got off the bus, the teacher made a speech. She said "Do NOT look at anyone in the face. Do NO laugh or point fingers at anyone. If you do, you'll get shot.". She was dead serious and I believe her.

I stay out of Atlanta... Especially around freaknik.

Sometimes people get robbed here at gunpoint with a bb gun. If that ever happens to me (since I know what the common bb gun they use looks like) i'm going to reach over a fist full of knuckles into dude's face. There was a real nice dude in my high school that robbed someone at bart that way. No clue why people do that, especially cool guys like him. Ah well.. It's a shame people pick on women too.
