I don't keep it upright just for the picture. Wanted to do the front and right side of the HD-DVD with chrome vinyl but didn't want to buy a role, might do it later. The SMD LED in the HD-DVD seems to have two feet on each side does anyone no what exact SMD LED they use I would like to change that Blue to match my XBOX360.

Mods:
Painted HD Black with VHT Black Vinyl Dye
Black Case ( Dont remember where I bought it from, but they are everywhere now)
Window cut out by Llamma
Pentagram Jewel ( Don't remember were I purchased , but just google for xbox jewels)
Jewel lighting was a bare Cyglow ring that I put in UV LEDS ( Don't go this route, I had to rip half of it apart and it is still a tight fit above the heat shroud). Powered by alternate 12V source from the unused 3 pin header spot on the Mobo. I drilled mobo and put in a 3 pin fan power connector.
Hitachi DVD window kit - purchased from Llamma
I painted the DVD case Chrome
Clear fan shroud - purchased from Llamma. This allows the Blue to show through from the LED Fans in the back without the need for more lighting. I still might add more lighting on the other side though.
ROL - Red in Center, Blue Ring. SMD 0603 ( Digikey/Mouser/Llamma or any Electronic Warehouse)
Chrome Faceplate - Most likely from Llamma again, but I could have got it elsewhere.
Painted HD-DVD Black with VHT Black Vinyl Dye
Rear Fan - Talismoon Blue Led Fan ( Don't remember where I got it, You can get them anywhere now, Llamma is always a good source)

what ya think about that???? pretty cool??? i like the whole case, the only thing i dislike about it, is its too plastic, it breaks easy, i had a few of the clips on the back that snap the case togather break on my

but all in hold its a pretty pimp case if you ask me, now i just need a hard drive, and i'd like to get my hands on another xbox 360

just did another chrome 360 with green cold cathodes and i used some chrome trim around the window to make the 360 look nice and clean

i have made a number of faceplates, some are better than others, and they are getting better with more practice.

Here is my first mod ever, it's having some OverHeating problems, but everything else is done. Here is whats done :

HDD Cut w/ Green Leds
4" Cold Cathode (Green)
Cut Disc Tray
Cust Fan Shrowd, w/ Plexi
Talismoon Whisper fans (Green)
Painted Everything White, used Primer, 3 coats of paint, and Clear Coat, and Sanded it.

Please PM with Feedback, rly want to know how you think it is, also the Fan Shrowd is not sitting flush where it's supposed to, can you tell me if that is why it's having overheating problems?

upgrades are :-

+ full clear front panel
+ 2 green LED Fans
+ clear DVD tray eject button
+ temp monitoring box now has its own power supplies (no extra load for the 360 power supply)
+ removed cold cathode lights as they were obstructing air flow
+ connecter for temp monitor now fixed to 360 case and monitoring box at the other end. (now linked together by 25 pin cable)

mine isnt as fancy as all these, but i just bought a 360 right before i heard about the Elite coming out, and i was kinda Irked about it. I already have component cables, i dont really care about HDMI, and all my music comes from my computer, so i dont need the extra storage that bad. The only thing that bothered me was the slick paint job, so....

It's not as fancy as some of the ones i've seen on here, but i think it looks pretty good, seeing as i lack the skills and tools to do all that fancy cutting and window work, but i'm debating whether to paint the hard drive enclosure.

360 number 1 back from repair so here is my latest upgrade to the system

wireless controller for xbox 360 number 2


upgrades are :-
on xbox 360 number 1 :-

+ addon cooling fan block for rear fans (swaped grean SMD LEDs for blue/UV ones) (powered from 3 pin connector)
+ 40 mm fan near hard drive ((blowing air in under the DVD drive to the GPU) powered from 3 pin connector)
+ 40 mm fan in bottom of case near CPU (powered from 3 pin connector)
+ added 5V and 12V 3 pin connector to cace
+ added two 50mm cooling fans above cpu (powered from 3 pin connector)
+ swapped green SMD LEDs for white ones in wired controller

on xbox 360 number 2 :-
+ swapped green SMD LEDs for blue/UV ones in wireless controller

Well had to rip apart my system to flash the drive again so figured on a Xeno Top Gear to avoid that in the future and might as well add some more blue light so got the tailsmoon aurora ( $10 is cheaper than my time to wire up 8 LEDS, use the adhesive backing there exclusive hooks Suck! Anyway had to keep it all black so here it is.
