it get the error 21 or whatever!



Do I copy the MS dash folder backup into the C drive normal folder?

Or how do I get it to boot into MS dash?

Also when I was doing my first install I think I might of glitcehd up

I did backup, install softmod, install unleashx, patch MS, then I was like WTF?

Then I did it again. Backup, install unleashx, then it worked.

I thought doing the patch MS would make it so I could run the MS dash and the normal dash without issues.


Now in my backup folder I see.
Things like SID, Skins, msdah.xbe, xboxdash.xbe evoxdash.xbe


Did I mess it up that i can restore it?

I donno wanna hit resotre and then have it not work and me be stuck without a xbox!

hey you posted this a while ago so i don't know if you still care but i did the same thing. NEVER patch those files. i thought mine was messed up for good but i went back to the Splinter Cell installer and ran the unleashx program manually then ftped the good files over from my backup. i dont know if this answers your question but it might help.
