Hi I would like to know if it is possible to add custom soundtrack that will play ingame (GTA, PGR, etc) without using the M$ dashboard to copy. I have looked in the UDATA and seem to remember something about the music being copied to one dir in here, but I can't remember anymore. I'm sure this has been asked but the search is down. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you will need a modded xbox and be able to ftp to it from your pc, then follow this link ( http://www.xbox-scene.com/tools/tools.php?page=utils ) and download the “Soundtrack Editor”... v0.97

Convert or rip your music to wma (128bit is good, i like this program for ripping and converting http://sourceforge.net/projects/cdexos/) and then setup the Soundtrack Editor with the ip of your xbox so it can connect through ftp. The Soundtrack Editor is pretty simple to use, just right click to add soundtracks in the left window and right click in the right window to add songs to that soundtrack.
