The cars look like cars...it's getting harder and harder to improve on those. But the environment really shines. The background-trees, leaves, mountain, etc-gorgeous!!!
The dirt and stuff on the cars looks nice too.

Hahah, it looks like they spent more time on the backgrounds and shading than they did on the cars themselves. The cars still look a little cartooney for me, while the background look almost like a photo. The background looks too real for the car. It's a lot like Perfect Dark Zero. The background looked a lot more realistic than the people themselves.

I was hoping that burnout revenge was gonna be a launch title for the 360 when burnout revenge came out on xbox. so i could get it on 360. but now the release date is march 06. i dont think i can wait that long. I'll get it on Xbox.

I honestly don't see much of a boost over Burnout Revenge other than the obvious resolution upgrade:

Too bad that's not a live gameplay shot though. Racing Games always look better during the replay. That looks like a replay shot. Even still, It looks great and I'm sure to will be a huge improvement over the Xbox version graphically(hopefully). Especially since they are taking extra time to port it.
MadEx
Looks like shit if you ask me. Could easily be done on the Xbox (minus 720p). The car in the firs tshot doesn't even have anyone driving it. They should be ashamed...
Joergen
Criterion+Renderware+Burnout has been one of the most amazing combinations for last gen what comes to 60fps and good graphics. It's a shame they cant do that magic on the next gen in the same magnitude.

And no wonder EA pulled these shots off some sites (obviously that site doesnt care).

And do you really think the 360 shots are live gameplay?

It will take a lot to sway me away from PGR3, but Burnout could do it.

This feature is something that I am really looking forward to:

The other new feature that we are really excited about is called Save and Share. Burnout is always an amazing game to watch, we have the best action! We always have these times when you say "Did you SEE that?" With Revenge on 360, you can now SHOW people. Now, when you finish a World Tour event, you will be shown a replay of the action, that's one of the most requested features from our fans.
So what? Well we're giving the player the ability to make a highlight of the action. You hit the record button and save a section of this replay to the HDD or Memory Unit. The real innovation here is that you can select to SHARE the clip. The highlight will be uploaded to your own section of the server where you can share it with other gamers. They'll be able to download and rate your action and we'll keep track of the Top 20 Most Downloaded highlight reels. It's something that we've wanted to do for a long time, and now with the power of 360 we can do it all online.

I cant wait for this one! I love the different crashes.

SHARE and SAVE!! Two words: Fucking FINALLY.

That feature makes it worth price of admission... and if Live on 360 is better than EA servers on Xbox. I wonder how they'll handle that?
tristanx
and will this one disappoint too? most likely. all they ever talk about is live this and live that... 6 people racing on live BIG DEAL!! I WANT MORE THAN SIX... and why can't you have lan party with this game? i didn't buy revenge on xbox because of no lan option. i'd prefer to play in a lan party then on live. call me old fashion, but having a lan party with alot friends is more enjoyable than with some stranger.
Deftech
whoa whoa

back up....

Burnouts dont feature sys link?

Syslink would be a huge draw for me too. I've requested it numerous times. But I get the impression that MS is trying to phase that out so we can't use XBC or something. Maybe i'm just paranoid, but ALOT fewer games have syslink support, no?
Deftech
I havent noticed a drop off in sys link games. Maybe thats because I adhere too the same types of games and they still all offer sys link.

CoD 2, quake 4, pgr 3, hell even quake 2 has it, lol. I do wish CoD 2 offered Coop, be it Lan or Live, or both. Ahh well.

None of the games I fell inlove with at xbox launch and sys link, lost that feature over the years, be it a racer, fps, whatever. I never owned a Burnout, always rented them. Never had it long enough to care about sys link, also none of my friends had them so there was noone to lan with anyways.

Im still sad about Brute Force sad.gif
