Is it cuase they suck? I just ordered one for my next xbox I am modding and just wondering why they are the cheapest...

They most definitely DO NOT suck. They are cheap because they are mass produced and are a very simple design. They dont have the extra features that most people dont need (or know how to use). Its a great value for a basic chip.

^^ Yeah, they're simple in design and only do the basics. When you buy a 4th gen chip, you pay $40 in convenience. For some people (ie: me), that's alright. For others who just want the basics, a DuoX is the right choice.

I just got mine yesterday and still need to borrow my soldering gun back from my friend >_<
But I hope it's a very good chip cuase Iwon't be doing hardcore stuff or I would of just got a frigging xbox devoloper kit off of ebay >_>

they are a great chip for the price. They are no expensive because a lot of research did not go into it unlike other chips put out by xecuter, xodus, and smartxx.
Chips are not expensive to make, the research is what you are paying them for.
regardless, great chip for the price yet again.

They are excellent chips. Very reliable. Watch for buying a clone as they do exist.
Always try and buy from a trusted place such as the very post above this one.
I have installed 100s of these with no come backs at all not one.
