Hi All

My bud just bought himself a xbox (aladdin 2 modchyip fitted) i took a 40gb Maxtor Hd and loaded all the apps he would need on it using my xbox and then locked the HD. Now when I install the hd on his xbox it doesnt read a thing jsut gives error codes. The retail HD works fine. I tried to format the hd again in his machine and it doesnt see the hd. in the c,d,e,f partitions it is 0. What could the problem be? maybe cause i locked it on my machine?

it's because you "locked" the HD into your xbox

You'll need to "unlock" the HD with your xbox and put the HD in his xbox
