Hey, my cousin has unleashx but I keep hearing a lot about evolutionx. What is the difference?

try em both and see. it all comes down to your personal opinion.

I wasn't aware that you could have both of them on your xbox at the same time. My cousin just told me about all this stuff last week, so I am very new at this. is there any one thing that unleashx has that evolutionx doesn't or vice versa?

unleashx:
file manager, video previews, alot of settings and customization

evox:
simplistic, noobs tend to like it, not a whole lot of customization, trainer engine (but there is an app out now that takes the place of this), bios flashing

just try them both (one at a time), or install one as an app and launch it and see if you like it better.

you could also read the nfo files and readmes...

UnleashX has more features and more options to play with (more customizeable).
You can also download new skins through your xbox (no need to download them on your PC, then FTP them over).
You can also update your version of UnleashX directly through your xbox.

Those are features EvolutionX doesn't have.


The only advantage to using EvolutionX... the backup eeprom & BIOS flashing features.


Your best bet would be to use UnleashX as your primary dashboard and install EvolutionX as an application (just in case you need it).

How about XBMC .

Unleashx sounds like it might be the way to go then, thanks for the help.

I use unleash x as my main dashboard, and have evox as an application so I can use the trainers for games like halo. If your not going to run evox as your main dash, you should definately have it as an application. Theres alot of nice features.
