I originaly planned to buy a Xecuter 2.6 CE, but I recently saw this:

How do that modchip compare to the Xecuter?

I dont reccomend that at all. Get Xecuter.

Its cheaper!
Depends what you want to pay/do with the chip/what functions are important to you.
If you are asking if the chip will work ok then the answer is yes the chip will work and allow you to run unsigned code/alternatedashes/back up your games etc.
