I have installed dozens of these in the past but the following situation has me stumped. So i am hoping that some of you can offer some suggestions on a fix.

Its a DUOX2 Cromwell installed in a Xbox 1.6
the rebuild is complete and double checked D0 and BT are connected.
When first installed bank 0 only gave a blank screen so i booted with bank 1 and then swithced back to bank 0, flashed the bios and the box boot fine with the evox bios. I have installed the dash and software using slayers installer and it will boot fine. the problem is when the chip is enabled it will cause a lock up after only 5 mins or so of game play. With the chip disabled there are no problems..

First i thought it might be the chip so i swaped in a brand new DUOX2, flashed it using the same mentioned above and i am getting the same results. Lock up when enabled fine when disabled.

Any suggestions on what i can do?

Are you using the non plus M8 bios on a 1.6B? If so that would cause the lock ups.

I was not aware there was a non plus m8 bios...

Is that something fairly new?

I'll have to take a look for it and give it a try. That might just be it!
