Hi, just got an LCD TV and pluged my Xbox up with RGB scart and video was crap! so I went Game and got a Game Component Video lead and the video is much better, but I have faint vertical Red Green Blue lines which spoil the picture.

anyone know what I have done wrong? I have know way of knowing if its the TV or Xbox sad.gif

I also don't have the option of selecting anything other then Wide, normal or letterbox in the MS dash!

My TV also has VGA and DVI computer inputs would this be better!?

Sounds like your Xbox is still set to PAL and as a result you won't be able to get the HD settings.

Change it to NTSC (using the Enigmah program) and then the HD modes will be available as long as you have the component cable connected.

If you still get a shitty picture then it's either the component cable or something funky going on with that TV.

Yes thanks…
Changing it to NTSC and then booting up the MS dash, I selected all the formats to YES (was that correct?) and rebooted an now when in a game all is excellent biggrin.gif (even PAL Games!).

Thanks for your help
