I have nothing but respect for Lemieux and Yzerman.

I really like the way they did this, giving them the chance to step down instead of just going with the better player (Spezza, Staal, Crosby.)

By the way nobody has a chance in hell in beating Canada this year.

Bertuzzi definately deserved to be on the team, but I think Spezza/Staal should be on the starting lineup, and Crosby should be one of the reserves at least.

I think you could drop Brad Richards, Rick Nash (he's been hurt all season!) and Shane Doan to free up those spots.

I guess they are going for experience over playing ability though, and Crosby will have plenty of chances to play for team Canada in the future.
