Ok I have been having a hell of a time trying to get this new xbox working. I think the problem may lie in the hard-drive...I have an old hard drive that is already softmodded from an older xbox. Am I able to copy the messed up hard drive onto the old "working" hard drive. The only problem I have is the old hard drive I cannot find any of the files from it like the eeprom or anything. I have the KEY needed to unlock it again. So my question is am I able to copy all the files from the hard drive that is messed up onto the older hard drive that is still working fine? When I try to plug in the older hard drive on the new xbox it gives me an 06 ERROR...any help would be GREATLY!!! APPRICIATED !!

You need to lock this old hdd to this new xbox, unless you have a chip. You cannot cross connect locked hdd's across xboxes unless you update the hdd codes on each of the xboxes to a single code.
