Well, I was working on customizing my 360 yesterday. I removed the fans and attached a longer wire connect and then reattached them. I cut the Xbox on and sadly only one fan worked. I was confused... I unplugged the longer wire and made it back to original One fan still didn't work and no matter what would not. It was the fan connected to the red and black wires. I took the Xbox back to the store and got a new one. Luckily Im in Japan and they are stupid and never asked if it was open. I got a new one and attempted the same thing today, thinking the other Xbox was just a defect.. Well it did it again, anytime you play around with the fans one goes dead and the red and black wire connection on the motherboard goes dead and won't work. I'm gonna rewire the black and red wires to the blue and brown so both fans work.. This may be some kinda security so we can't add more or change fans..

Anyone know of another place to connect more fans? Post pics and give details please

lol, I was gonna link you to another topic where a guy had a similar problem, then I realized it was yours also.

The x360 uses dynamically controlled cooling, both fans may not be turned on at all times. Maybe someone else that has tested the cooling system would be able to provide more information. I would recommend against running both fans off a single circuit, you may overload it.

Guess I need to take my 2 case fans out of the 1 motherboard pin they are connected to on my PC. I have like 4 fans and only 3 MOBO pins so I just hooked 2 fans onto 1 pin.....*takes apart computer to remove 2 fans*

There is an additional 'PC' Fan socket in the front of the motherboard, near the ring of light. Much like an XBOX1 v1.1 still had the GPU Fan outlet traces with the fanless heatsink. I would try this out possibly ?

Dont feel bad i tried hooking up another fan on the CPU and used the red/black wire without reading the forum and nex thing i know SPARK and the horrible smell of a circuit buring, no more red/black power. So I connected them to the brown/blue, it worked good for a few days, and today they both died, so i have a 2 fans that have no power and a lot of forums to read

No.

Even if I soldered both +s to the same 12V pin (solderpad)

How else would you do it?

There are more than one 12V pin. Youd take the +s seperately and solder them to two different 12V pins.
