Hi,

I've just bought a video projector with component inputs to use with my Xbox. My setup will see the projector sit on the opposite side of the room from the Xbox and my DD Receiver, and I'd appreciate some thoughts on the best way to cable this up.

I'd need around a 10metre component cable with an Xbox connector on it (though I haven't seen them this length anywhere in the UK) but I guess I'd also need the Xbox connector to feed the digital audio output to the receiver (which is next to Xbox, and about 6metres from the projector).

Can anyone advise as to the best solution?

i would just put the xbox closer to the projector. the cables can only be so long before your signal degrades anyways. but the way professionals do it would be to go buy 3 pieces of RG-6 coax from your local Home Depot - 100 feet of it should run about 10 bucks plus you need to terminate it - about 5 bucks and RF connectors to RCA type connector converters - about 5 bucks.
