Im wonder what would i use so i can have my xbox 360 hooked up to my pc moitor as well as my pc instead of having to screw it on and off everytime

You should be able to get a VGA Cable Splitter for under $20.

if i use the splitter it says its for splitting the signal from the back of the screen into dual monitors will it work the same way as it has 2 female and one male end this will work or do i need the box

you should be able to get a kvm switch pretty cheap.

i got one (trendnet kvm tk-208k) its a nice solution that swithches between my xbox and pc vga and sound , but the bad thing about it ,is that the image on the screen is blurry , so , i DONT recommend it to any one , you should get a better quality product ,

I got a belkin usb kvm switch, switches my usb keyboard to my xbox when i switch inputs. also it can be controled with a keyboad combo so i dont have to get up.
