Does xdsl have the ability to unlock a hdd, i ask because im on a softmod and dont wanna unlock my hdd my mistake?

Yes i belive it can if you run the command to do so.. Never tried it... But again i wouldn't.. Friedgold prolly made the command useable by root only and you should only run root when your paying attention.. Anyways back up your eeprom and make a XboxHDM disk so if somthing was to happen you could easily lock it back..

good rule for anything xbox
have a complete C backup and a good chunk of E backed up
Udata and Tdata
and deffinatly have a EEPROM backup
i have about 5 backups of my EEPROM in different locations
email servers
floopys
hd
cd's
u get the idea
