no there isn't a windows version.
you need to make a bootdisc on either a
floppy or cd then reboot your pc with that disc.

i have a question about this proggy... i fryed my mobo can i use this program to unlock my hd and swap it in to my friends modded box and transfer over the files?

If your Xbox was stock before you fried the motherboard, or if your Xbox's hard drive has never been locked with Evox or ConfigMagic, then XboxHDM will not be able to unlock the hard drive, because no master password had been set.

If your Xbox has the original Seagate hard drive (the one with a black rubber coat around it), then read over this thread to find out how to unlock it.

someone upgrades my hd...can that person make his own password for the hdd or will it always be xboxscene or teamassembly.......bc i dont know my password and i too have a locked hdd i dont know how to unlock it to use in my friends xbox....what do i do

if u killed the mobo and want the hd that was locked to it to work, unsolder the EEPROM chip from that mobo and resolder it to another mobo, unlock the drive with configmagic and resodler the EEPROMs back to their original mobos. complicated...yeah....worth it...not really...you can buy a hd for pretty cheap nowadays.
