I just started to mod morrowind I love to play the game but its been getting old so i figured I would try and get some mods to make it seem new again. I followed Johnny's tuts for hexing the morrowind.xbe i believe it was and also the defult.xbe. I then dled a mod from his site to try it out think it was one of the ring cheats, I then put all the moded files into the data folder. After this i started morrowind from my hdd and made a new game went to balmore mages guild didn't find any rings. So my question is. Am I not doing an important step or what, also do you have to make a new game for the mods to work or will the rind appear in my old game saves?

are you using the game of the year edition as most of the mods are for that?

Have you solved your problem yet?

I had this issue once and I thought I HEX edited it wrong, but the it was solved when I cleared x,y and z drivers.
